Over the past week, the news surrounding the Knicks has all been about Phil Jackson, the new President of the New York Knicks. Although Jackson won’t be in attendance for the game at the Staples Center, the Lakers are focused on concluding their four game home stand with a win.

Unfortunately, they will likely be without Pau Gasol, who is recovering from vertigo. However, despite a torn ligament in his wrist, Xavier Henry will play.

I have hated how the Lakers have played lately. They miss Steve Blake a lot and he was a good backup anyways the Lakers need to stop playing like zombies out there.Last game was unbearable to watch since the Lakers were playing the fully tanking Magic and that was expected to beat their ass but the previous games against the Thunder and Spurs just about had me stop watching their games for a week or two but i am still watching the games.Kent Bazemore played as the backup Point Guard he had 8 assists last game,he is a good addition to the team.

MarShon Brooks must of slacked off he gets no burn on the court. No Gerald Green story for MarShon hell players like Gerald Green come to a training camp looking for work all the time only 1 out of every million end up being like Gerald Green, the Lakers missed the boat on Gerald Green IMO,he was at our training camp twice and D-League team the D-Fenders yet he never got a call up to the NBA by the Lakers.

The Suns are happy they got him now and they will have him for years to come.Brooks is a goner IMO.Lakers versus Knicks MEH both teams need major improvements to contend in the future. But both are from the 1 and 2 markets.Knicks have been red hot lately winning just about every game.
