Shaq, Kobe & Fish Put on the Purple & Gold for the First Time
The 1996-97 Season was one of the most anticipated seasons in Lakers history. With an offseason coup by the legendary general manager, Jerry West, that landed Shaquille O’Neal, Derek Fisher and Kobe Bryant, Lakers Nation was finally being rewarded for waiting patiently for 6 years through some hard times in Lakers history.
