Our friends over at ABC just threw us this link of a segment they did with Shannon Brown and Monica on their quest for a caterer for their postponed wedding party with friends and family. Looks like something that was definitely used for Monica to show off her new album, but the food was definitely looking good at the Kitchen in Pasadena.

I would really like to see Shannon stay with the team, but I understand; it’s a business decision. I think he picked the wrong time to opt out though. He tried testing the free agent market last year and nobody was buying. That’s why he came back and took a two year deal with the same opt-out clause. Now he’s going to try it all over again in the middle of a lockout. Who knows what the next CBA is going to entail. They just might eliminate the Mid-level exception and there’s talk about the Owners wanting to cut all guaranteed contracts by 33%. There’e always the posibility that he may come back if he doesn’t find a deal worth his while. We could use his speed and athleticism, not to mention his amazing dunks.
