Ron Artest Explains World Peace to KTLA Morning Show

By | July 8, 2011|

Thanks for the Heads Up Frank!

Ron Artest, er, Metta World Peace hung out with my favorite morning tv show, the KTLA Morning Show today, while they were celebrating their 20th anniversary. Metta wanted to give everyone a heads up that he’ll be hosting a comedy show over at the Hollywood Improv tonight at 8p and 10p as well as showing up at the Brea Improve on July 29th.

The KTLA reporters weren’t going to let him off that easy as they asked about Mike Brown, in which World Peace responds, “I like him…has a great haircut…real simple…awesome!”

Metta also talked about other ideas that came up when him and his boys were thinking about the name change, something he’s been thinking about for years:

  • QueensBridge
  • Mr. Defense
  • Mr. New York
  • One Love

And now we know that we can all thank Cincinatti Bengals Wide Receiver, Ocho Cinco for inspiring Ron Ron to change his name.

Anyways, enjoy the clip. It’s Classic World Peace!
