Ramon Sessions Reportedly Hobbled By Sprained Ankle

After a rather disappointing performance in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals, it seems that Los Angeles point guard Ramon Sessions may have had a reason for his lackluster play.

According to O.C. Register Lakers beat writer Kevin Ding, Sessions reportedly sprained his ankle in the second quarter of Monday night’s game.

This might explain Sessions’ unfortunate stat line. He scored just two points in 26 minutes, and made just one of his seven shot attempts.

If the Lakers are going to be successful in this series they’re going to need more from Sessions.

Lakers didn’t play that bad. OKC just did play that DARN GOOD.

100 points with 10 minutes more in the 4th Q? 60% field goal shooting? Not even the ’92 Dream Team can stop a team with those stats.

Jay, you’re correct. If OKC is going to play like this for the whole series, that’s nothing LAL can do to stop them, and very little that any other team, arguably apart from the Heats, in the league could do.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself.
