The Lakers would not have normally practiced today, coming off a back-to-back winless roadtrip, but head coach Mike D’Antoni thought it would be a good day for his players to get treatment and watch film. D’Antoni also mentioned it being important for the team to come together and keep their spirits up and resorted to answering questions with jokes during his media session. Pau Gasol and Wes Johnson both talked about the Lakers-Clippers rivalry, while Gasol pinpointed areas where Kendall Marshall can improve. Both Johnson and D’Antoni addressed the waiving of Shawne Williams. Check out our practice videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel!

“They should trade him,” one ECE said. “No one thinks he’s staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers.”

May possibly happen 2014-2015 season. This is why IMO it’d be best to acquire more draft picks to lessen the blow in trading away picks especially 1st rounders. Best if FO goes after SOLID starters 2014FA to help fill key starting positions while waiting to acquire another star player or two down the line.
