Pau Gasol Talks Trash with Chris Paul: Is this the Pau fans want?

As the Lakers wrapped up the victory last night against the Clippers, Pau Gasol and Chris Paul started talking trash, which left Chris Paul as angry as you’ll ever see him. Observers near courtside are reported to have heard the word “soft” being hurled in Pau’s direction, as Chris Paul walked backwards toward his bench.

All this from what Pau said was a friendly pat on the head.

I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t be saying the same thing if Kobe touched his head and I’m pretty sure he’s done it before to his own teammates.

Bottom line is that we all know what this is about. Chris Paul doesn’t respect Pau Gasol and the image of Pau Gasol in a Lakers uniform patting the Clippers franchise player on the head doesn’t help the public perception that the Clippers are trying to break – that the Lakers run this town.

In regards to Pau, I want to see more of the aggression on the offensive side. I want to see the Pau that doesn’t give Chris Paul the ball at the end of the game. I want to see the Pau that helps win ball games.
