Owners, Players Meet for 16 Hours; Will Resume Wednesday Morning

By | October 18, 2011|

Today in New York the owners and players met for a mediated session that last over 16 hours. In the end there were two words released to the media – no comment. Both sides were asked by mediator George Cohen to refrain from commenting, and both obliged.

There was a tad bit of (hopefully) encouraging news, as both sides announced they would meet again tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM EST.

Let’s hope that we’re on the right track. If things don’t go well tomorrow, David Stern has promised further cancellations.
