Pau Gasol says the Los Angeles Lakers should take greater advantage of their inside game in the remainder of their series against the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Daily News reported.
Gasol is shooting 62.5 percent from the field in the Western Conference finals, now tied 2-2 after Denver’s 120-101 win in Game 4 on Monday. But he took just four shots in the second half of a game in which the Lakers hoisted 31 3-point attempts and made nine — a 29 percent shooting percentage.
“I wish we would take more advantage of our height and the inside game, because it’s pretty effective. It’s unfortunate that we don’t recognize it enough,” Gasol said, according to the Daily News.
