Rocky getting Punked by the Lakers
Probably one of the quickest turnarounds I’ve seen in the playoffs, the Lakers should be good and ready to take on the Nuggets. I’m one of those fans that think the 7 Game series against the Rockets was good for the Lakers as it helps them maintain focus and determination to bring that trophy down Figueora.
ESPN – “Immediately after the Los Angeles Lakers disposed of the Houston Rockets on Sunday in Game 7 of their Western Conference semifinal series, Kobe Bryant was celebrating, laughing and hugging his daughters like there was no tomorrow. But now it is tomorrow and that’s when Bryant and his teammates are quickly back into work mode at Monday’s practice, not wanting to exhale too long or too deeply with the newly-respected Denver Nuggets on deck. When Monday rolled around, to a man in Lakerland, it was as if Sunday’s Game 7 win over Houston never happened.”
