Nick Young’s Hilarious Lakers Media Day Interview (VIDEO)

The Los Angeles media waited quite some time for Lakers fan favorite, Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young to address the media scrum, but once he did, the wait was well worth it. Young was all jokes from start to finish. Within the first 30 seconds, he opened with this:

“I’m a star so that’s about it. Feeling good.”

Young continued by emphasizing that Kobe Bryant worked out with him this summer (as in Kobe asked to work out with Nick, rather than Nick asking to work out with Kobe). With a smile from ear to ear, Young says that he’s been “showing Kobe the ropes this summer.”

Young also talks about walking the fashion runways, and the rookie duties he’s been giving Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson. We already knew Young was requesting Clarkson to call him ‘Daddy Swag,’ but Young informed us that he’s also having Randle call him “Uncle Swag, cause it’s a family affair here.”

Young also describes defending Bryant in their 5-on-5 scrimmage and deciding whether he’s going to go for MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, or Sixth Man of the Year. Bottom line, this video is worth watching.
