By | July 7, 2012|

With the 2012 London Olympics right around the corner, Team USA finally set its official roster for the upcoming games on Saturday afternoon. With 10 of the 12 roster spots considered locks, there were really only two slots open for newcomers.

Here’s the complete list of the 12 players that will be representing the United States at the 2012 Olympic games.

Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks
Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
Tyson Chandler, New York Knicks
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder
Andre Iguodala, Philadelphia 76ers
LeBron James, Miami Heat
Kevin Love, Minnesota Timberwolves
Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder
Deron Williams, Brooklyn Nets

The team was facing plenty of injuries, and won’t see Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh or Dwight Howard on the roster this season. Due to their absence, players like Harden, Iguodala and Love were able to secure roster spots.

Team USA will begin practicing and scrimmages soon, as the exhibition schedule was released this morning.
