NBA News: Staples Center Named One of Best NBA Arenas

Staples Center, which is home to the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers, was named one of the best arenas by Stadium Journey Magazine. Staples Center has always been an iconic venue for the NBA since it opened back in 1999, and tickets are hard to come by no matter how the Lakers and Clippers are performing.

Staples Center, home of the Lakers and Clippers, was featured in the November issue of Stadium Journey Magazine as one of the NBA’s best arenas.

With profiles on the Toyota Center (Houston Rockets), The Palace (Detroit Pistons) and Barclays Center (Brooklyn Nets), Staples is singled out for improvements made over the off-season.

The report highlighted the additions of Steve Nash and Dwight Howard as two things that increased the value and appeal of Staples Center. In addition, the improvements of the Los Angeles Clippers is another factor that makes Staples Center one of the best venues in the league.

The magazine also mentions the statues outside Staples Center and the recent addition to the collection, one of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Even though most of the action occurs inside Staples Center, the statues and the lively “LA Live” makes the experience at Staples Center an unforgettable one.
