Kobe Bryant Team USA

Tayshaun Prince is another example of Kobe rubbing off on players during their time playing alongside the future Hall of Famer with Team USA. Prince compared facing Bryant like he was going to war, according to ESPN:

“You learn a lot of things from Kobe, just his patience and things like that. Just the ultimate competitor. Stays in the gym all the time. Always wants to get better. Always wants to work. When you go out there and play against him, you have to be ready for war. He’s always moving, he’s always physical, you have to always be alert at any time.”

Prince is one of the few players that have been able to get the best of Kobe during the NBA Finals. The Detroit Pistons nearly swept the Lakers back in 2004.

Kobe has only lost one Finals series since 2004 falling to the Boston Celtics in 2008.

Like what J. Cole once said “want to know the formula for success? Man I studied for this test”
The truth is you can’t just want to be successful, you got to be obsessed with being successful, if the goal is to be successful.
Hardest working player ever and this is why I believe he’s the greatest ever. Going through tremendous defenders like Tony Allen, Bruce Bowen, Paul pierce, Doug Christie, James posey, raja bell, etc. No one had it tougher than Kobe and yet he is still able to overcome adversary and keep winning.
Embarrassing these so called “basketball experts” are saying Bron is ahead of him. Kobe had to go through multiple top 50 players of all time. Kidd, Nash, Garnett, Duncan, iverson, dirk. All LeBron had to go through to get 2 possibly 3 rings is Durant. The fact that he can lose to the 2014 spurs says a lot. 99-2007 spurs are so much better than the 13, and 2014 spurs.
LeBron got it lucky. This is not the same Duncan or ginobili. Kobe, rondo, and Westbrook were injured last playoffs. Kobe, Rose, and Brandon Roy injuries played a huge part to LeBron’s success.
Let’s also not forget, LeBron has the 2nd or 3rd best player in the east conference on his team. I don’t recall Pau Gasol ever being the 2nd best player in the west conference.
Greatest players from the past 25 years
    1. Kobe
    2. Jordan
    3. Shaq
    4. Duncan
    5. Hakeem
    6. LeBron
