Mike Brown Says Andrew Goudelock has Earned Right to Play More

By | January 26, 2012|

It’s been a tumultuous start to the season for rookie guard Andrew Goudelock. While his playing time has been sporadic at best, he turned in his best performance of the season Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

During the game Goudelock scored a career-high 14 points off the bench, leading the way for the Los Angeles reserves. He also hit several key three-point baskets, which is an area where the Lakers have struggled as a team this season. At practice on Thursday head coach Mike Brown stated that the young rookie had earned the right to see more action on the court.
