Metta World Peace Hits 1,000th Career Three-Pointer

In Sunday night’s game against the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace hit his 1,000th career three-pointer. World Peace knocked down the three in the third quarter of a closely contested match against the Magic.

World Peace had not shot the three well for the Lakers in previous seasons, but he has transformed his game in 2012-13. He has become a threat from behind the arc and teams must now look out for him on every possession.
