Metta World Peace Becomes 6th Player To Reach Rare Feat

By | December 5, 2012|

Metta World Peace made a three-pointer in the fourth quarter to reach 12,000 points. He is the sixth player in league history to reach 12,000 points, 4,000 rebounds, 1,000 3-point field goals, and 1,500 steals. He is the sixth player to reach that feat. He joins Paul Pierce, Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Reggie Miller, and current teammate Kobe Bryant.

Metta made his 1,000th three-point field goal against Orlando to become the 68th player to reach that feat. And then in Houston, he grabbed his 4,000th rebounds. He entered Wednesday’s game as the 28th all-time leader in career steals with 1,572.
