Magic Johnson Wins Bid for Ownership Stake in Dodgers

Former Laker legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson is almost as well-known for his business ventures off the court as he is for his legendary game on the court. Now, Johnson has another title to put on his resume: owner.

Johnson’s group paid a reported $2 billion, exceeding all previous records for purchase price of professional sports teams.
