The Lakers were back in action Tuesday night to take on the New York Knicks. It was the first meeting between the two teams since former Lakers coach Phil Jackson became president of basketball operations for the Knicks last week. 51 point 3rd quarter for the Lakers??? Wow!

  • LakersHeatBeef

The Lakers scored 51 points in the third quarter breaking the all time Lakers franchise record for scoring in a quarter.Lakers are crushing the sorry ass Bricks. No playoffs for the Bricks.

Damn what will the Lakers do if they end up winning a bunch of games and these kids on the team like Young,Henry,Meeks,Hill bail on them for a bigger pay day?I am in hopes the Lakers land the number 1 pick but even me Mr. Positive the optimist must be realistic the more we win the further the top pick becomes and it sets in that Willie Cauley-Stein will be our new center wow just wow.

Was i the only one who knew Cedric Ceballos was the last lead scorer for the Lakers???????

If they never had let him go it would have been the dynamic trio
Kobe Shaq Ceballos. those of you who dont know about him he would of been a great Laker, but because he didn’t go with the team to seattle that they didnt know where he was then sent back to his former team after being suspended indefinitely it was also when Magic Johnson returned to play for LA in the PF position i believe

Great win for the Lakers franchise.I want to give out some shout outs to some of the hard workers tonight.I start with Kent Bazemore man he is great on defense and a terrific player.Xavier Henry just keeps bringing it game after games and some people wanted Marcus Landry to stick instead of Xavier SMH.

And Jordan Hill has played excellent basketball when he gets the PT.Kendall,Meeks,Young all do their thing every game. The record sucks i know but i am just being positive.About the upcoming draft i already found the player we need Aaron Gordon is that guy the Lakers can use it will be a great selection the kid Gordon is amazing.

Also Marcus Smart would be a great choice for the Lakers if he slips to where pick.Currently the Lakers have the 6th pick in the upcoming draft that is Aaron Gordon and Marcus Smart territory but if the Lakers keep winning it becomes much different.Great fun game to watch tonight.51 points in the third quarter broke the record yeap.
