The Los Angeles Lakers head into their matchup with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night hoping to snap a six game losing streak. Getting the win will be no easy task; the Mavs have a 25-21 record on the season and have easily handled the Lakers in both of their two previous meetings this season.
The Lakers will also be shorthanded, as guard Kobe Bryant will miss the game due to shoulder soreness. Rookie forward Larry Nance Jr. will return to action after missing the past four games with a sore knee, but will play only limited minutes.
With Bryant in street clothes, he will miss the opportunity to face Dirk Nowitzki for a final time before retiring.
