Not bad for arriving in Cleveland @4:30 am. Farmar’s the difference maker though he plays D too but wonder why Nash isn’t playing? (back 2 back games?) it’s not like he’s saving his legs for the post season aside of being out for the majority of this one.

HMM? 70-49 Lakers at the half. Correct me if I’m wrong but offensive efficiency sparked good defense in that first half? The defensive intensity looked that of the bench mob before all of the injuries and Wes Johnson and Farmar’s offensive energy was the key. Everyone else fed off it and Blake as usual was the steady bull dog leader of the pack defensively.

49 points is still a high scoring half. Offensive efficiency helps your defense as I’ve tried to tell many.

And that defense was essentially anchored by Ryan Kelly playing center as both Sacre and Kaman were saddled with foul trouble…impressive. Farmar and Johnson looked gooooooooooood!

      • Daryl Peek

Energy is off the chart tonight! We just gotta learn how to play defense without fouling.

Stop it Daryl… Defense is basic FUNDAMENTAL for the game like magic mentions ‘wins champions.’ This roster feeds off of one end to the other basically. Still have another half left but if they don’t play good D b/c their shooting will minimize a little they’ll the Cavs back in the game which goes with grabbing rebounds under the rim.

Been watching the cavs broadcast (funny stuff) they say the cavs need to have more pride in them jerseys (?) while mentioning it’s just a matter of time before the lakers let them back in the game.

Stop what? Were watching it play out as I type. Have several seats and enjoy good Lakers offense LOL

  • Daryl Peek

I’m watching D’Antoni b-ball at it’s best. Small ball players on tilt running and gunning and it has energized the defense tonight. 81 points on the board with almost 8 minutes left in the third quarter?

The great Nick Young tweak his ankle and will not return… hhhhmmm… we just can’t get any break this season.

  • Chyeah

WTH…Nick Young out for the second half now only have 2 on the bench. This is so fucking bullshit..

    • Daryl Peek

But that’s D’Antoni’s fault according to most?!? lol

      • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

Yeah, I agree with you Daryl… that one is on MDA…along with Kaman elbowing Jordan Hill against Minnie… that was MDA;s fault also…. heck even the rebounding effort our bigs (Kaman, Sacre) = 6 rebounds… that was really really on MDA. Right people?

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

The Lakers on the floor looked tiny compared to the Cavs…. Kelly, Johnson,Marshal,Farmar,Blake… as a result of Kaman getting his 5th foul.

  • Daryl Peek

Just gotta hold on for 12 minutes. The fellas can’t help but get tired out there with only seven in the rotation. If not for offensive rebounds by the Cavs this would be a complete shunk!

The defense gave of 30 in that third.

    • Daryl Peek

      ..

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

lead is down to 10 with less than 10 minutes to go…. got to defend better and take care of possession better. If not, it’s gonna be a real heart breaker.

    • Daryl Peek

Running out of healthy bodies and fouls. The D’Antoni haters will blame that on him also. *looking*

  • Daryl Peek

Stupid move by Kaman?!? Damn you D’Antoni

    • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

hahahahahaha… i can’t help myself but laugh… now where are the people who were furious MDA not playing Kaman… I wonder why they aren’t blogging today… afraid to come out eh?

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

Gotta love the ball movement…. the value of Steve Blake playing alongside another great passer can not be over emphasized in this game… just beautiful…

    • Daryl Peek

This looks like a potential gut wrenching loss coming. Were out of everything. Blake with 15 assist playing with one arm. Warrior!! I’d be more confident in our chances if he could make a jumper. That’s killing us.

      • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

Can you believe this… we only have 6 players left available the rest of the way!

        • Daryl Peek

CRAZY. Sacre just picked up his 5th foul also

          • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

            Damn you MDA! lol

      • Chris Lilly

this all falls back on d’antoni. When everyone was healthy he didnt kno how to manage minutes. Run and gun type offense with a old aged team will lead to injuries. And plus that playing style (run and gun) has never won a title. He should give it up

        • Daryl Peek

          ?!?!?!?!? Speechless

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

Sacre is a beast on defense the last couple of minutes… way to go Sacre.

    • Daryl Peek

Gotta get more rebounds from him. He’s giving his all tho

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

And now… we are left with only 5 players available with still less than 4 minutes left…. lol… This is solely on MDA.

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

2nd Steve Blake 3333333333…. might just be the game for us… not get a stop and take care of just 1 possession and we will have a win.

  • Daryl Peek

They brought Steve Nash out of the locker room and forced him to suit up when he was designated DNP to start the game? This shit is rule book ground breaking! LMAO

  • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

And finally… we have a WIN! woooohoooo… oh yeah!!!!

  • LakersHeatBeef

    LAKERS WON HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LakersHeatBeef

Lakers are going to win it all this season LMFAO J/K.Just happy to win again lol.

  • LakersHeatBeef
