The Lakers wrapped up their first full week of the new year, however it was not a kind one for the purple and gold. The team dropped four games in a row which included losses in Dallas and Houston which was the start of a long road stretch.

After knocking off the Jazz last Friday evening the Lakers had a major letdown just two nights later when they would give up a season high 137 points to the Nuggets. Then, to top it all off, they were beaten down by the Clippers in their worst loss since 2007.

While the Lakers did not have a great week they’ll have a chance to snap the losing streak if they can defeat the Cavaliers at home next Tuesday evening. The home game will the the only one for the Lakers for quite some time as they will be on the road until the end of the month. The team will be in Phoenix Wednesday before heading to Boston and Toronto to finish off their week.

Before the Lakers start their week take a moment and look at some of the most memorable photos from this past week.
