Los Angeles Felt Like Home for Sasha Vujacic

Hoops Hype- Jorge Sierra – When the Los Angeles Lakers traded away guard Sasha Vujacic, they lost a long time player and someone who aided them in two championship runs. Vujacic was a valuable piece off the bench for the Lakers and will be most remembered for his clutch free-throws in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals.

I love the organization, they’re my family and they treated like family when I went to New Jersey, so L.A. is home for me. – Sasha Vujacic

Vujacic struggled in his final season in Los Angeles and was not as consistent behind the three-point line as he once was. Nevertheless, Vujacic improved his level of play since he got more court-time with the Nets.

The Lakers were not a very good three-point team last year, and if Vujacic had kept his touch, he may still be wearing purple-and-gold.
