Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball has made his interest in being a rapper clear in various Twitter videos and SoundCloud releases since before he even made it to the NBA, and on Friday he announced his first mixtape, “Born 2 Ball,” would release Feb. 15.

Ball posted a photo of himself as a baby and a much younger picture of his father LaVar Ball as an album cover on Instagram, along with a photo of what is presumably the tracklist for Lonzo’s debut mixtape.

It will include previously released tracks like “ZO2,” “Super Saiyan,” “Get Off,” and “BBB” as well as new contributions with titles like “Grind Mode,” “Puttin In Work,” and “Bring It Home.”

Lonzo only gave the most basic info in the caption, writing simply “2/15/18” for the release date and “#B2B,” presumably a hashtag he wants fans to use to share the album.

Lonzo has found time to record music all season as he’s released the occasional track here and there throughout his rookie campaign, although this will be the first time he’s put together a full collection of his music at once.

There is no word yet on where Lonzo, who is also planning a summer concert in Lithuania that will probably heavily feature these tracks, will release his mixtape or how much it will cost.

But given the way Big Baller Brand has done everything else since Lonzo made it to the league, it seems likely that this mixtape won’t be free and will instead probably drop on traditional music distributors like iTunes and Amazon.
