The Los Angeles Lakers not only finished victorious against the New York Knicks, they came out with a new Lakers franchise record in the process, scoring 51 points in the third quarter. Mike D’Antoni didn’t seem too moved by the new record, but he was impressed with Xavier Henry’s tremendous play despite a torn ligament in his wrist. He also had high marks for the rookie Ryan Kelly, who played more than any other member in the purple and gold.
