Its no secret that the Lakers are in dyer Need of a point guard. With Steve Blake still injured and an visibly aging Derek Fisher, Rumors have surfaced that the Lakers are interested in bringing in Ramon Sessions of the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to Yahoo Sports the Lakers view sessions as a candidate who can help their depleted backcourt By bringing some much needed leadership and offensive power to the 2nd unit.
Jose Calderon is also available for Trade. He’s a solid, tough point guard who happens to be teammates with Pau on Spain’s national team. Probably could help bring the best out of him.
The Lakers are hosting the Charlotte Bobcats tonight at Staples before heading off for a 6 game road trip, their longest of the season. The rundown includes Denver, Utah, Philly, Boston, New York and Toronto.
The bobcats record is one that is almost painful to say….3-18. But as you know the Lakers have at times played down to their competition and tonight can not be one of those nights. Rookie Kemba Walker might be the spark of the underdogs flame, in his last outting he recorded a triple double with 20 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds he is first of NBA freshman class achieve this feat.
