    • Duckathon

I never thought much of Shaw as a player. Were there free agents on the 71 team? I would love to know??? Wasn’t Malone a free agent the year Kobe pissed off everyone?

    • Duckathon

Yeah, Malone was a free agent at that time. I remember it was a huge coup when Malone signed for the min. He actually had a good year with the Lakers.

  • Kris

I guess no one cared to mention Kareem?

    • dmh44

      Kareem came in a trade.

  • Dbone

Robert Horry was a free agent or it was a trade?

    • dmh44

      Trade.

  • Duckathon

Shaq was the only truly franchise-altering free agent signing. This goes to show you not to put all your eggs in the free agency basket.
