Lakers point guard Steve Nash has been known to have an undying passion for the sport of soccer. Earlier this year, the two-time NBA MVP co-hosted an exclusive soccer event with fans. Nash even participated in a ‘tryout of sorts’ with Inter Milan last July, though he was cut from the team.

Recently, Nash inked a deal to partner with the luxury and travel company, Beck & Score, known for offering exclusive packages for high-end sports enthusiasts, including the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Nash made a statement on Beck & Score’s website to acknowledge his interest about promoting soccer from a business proposition:

It is well known that I am passionate about soccer, and the opportunity to partner with Beck & Score, to merge business with sport was very intriguing to me. My role will largely be to represent Beck & Score’s promotional and press initiatives starting with the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil in June

Nash still continues his off-time service with the sport he enjoys other than basketball. Despite the unfortunate injuries, it’s encouraging to see the NBA veteran share his personal time off the hardwood floor with the sporting community of professional soccer.

If you want to be a part of the exclusive experience with Beck and Score’s hospitality packages for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, you can sign up here to be a member of the soccer event that will take place this summer in Rio de Janeiro on July 13.
