Lakers Rumors & News Recap: Luck Be A Laker Tonight
The Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics is tonight, meaning very soon we get to see Team USA kill it in basketball! This Sunday, Kobe and the rest of the star-studded roster play France at 9:30 a.m. ET. I am sure this Olympic games will be successful one.
Kobe has another reason to smile, however. Someone was looking out for the Lakers this coming season, as the 2012-2013 schedule looks to be in their favor. Not only are the Lakers nationally televised for a third of their games, but they play 11 out of the first 16 games at home. Lakers fans will more than likely be able to feed their Laker game hunger within the first month of regular season play. Plus, except for the game against the Spurs and Nuggets, and maybe the Clippers, those 16 games look to be easily winnable. L.A. is also hosting a game on Christmas Day against the New York Knicks. Ladies, your Christmas list just got a whole lot easier for the men in your life.
One big change is coming this year, though. For the first time ever, every single locally broadcasted Lakers game will be on one TV network: Time Warner Cable SportsNet.
