Lakers Rumors & News Recap: Carmelo Anthony Not Leaving Knicks

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at New York KnicksIn an interview with Bloomberg Television, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony states he has no plans of leaving the New York Knicks.

It has been speculated that the Lakers will pursue Anthony and LeBron James in the 2014 off-season (both would have to opt out of their final year of their contract and become unrestricted free agents).

Both players have made no indication that they would be interested in coming to Los Angeles, but the Lakers will have the cap space to pursue both superstars. Although the news that Anthony is not planning to go anywhere can be discouraging for Lakers Nation, only time will tell if the Lakers will be appealing enough to steal Anthony from New York.

With an entire season left to be played, neither player will admit they are considering leaving for another team, but depending on the outcome of the season, that might change as they approach free agency. The Lakers would love to have both, but even one superstar would be great for the organization.

Their required at least 1 repost per day! (Sarcasm) I hope one day they get the hint from your memes. If they don’t have anything new to add, they shouldn’t post anything at all.

It’d expect some team breakdown analysis rather than off the court player hobbies posts. They just re-reposted the Melo story in less than a 24 hr. period. SMH

I am beginning to think LN is really not doing anything to stop this reposted/respinned posts… common… do you research and write something interesting… I’ll give you some idea…

    1. go interview some players… especially the camp invites
    2. do a one-interview a day post
    3. interview some bspn guys like Henry Abbot why he is so negative about Kobe and the lakers… get to the details of his hate…
    4. get a hold of injured players like Steve Nash and find out about his rehab progress…

These are just 4 ideas… but it will fill LN for a month…

many of us don’t know the new guys on the team. why there aren’t more interviews with them is a puzzle to me. also, am i the only one who wants to know more about the progress of ryan kelly’s foot and what the hell is wrong with it? what has he been doing to get ready for the season; rather, how has his foot interfered with his getting ready for the season? can he run? has he had all the light, sound, vibes, heat and cold, and has anything helped? it is a matter of pain, of damage; what is the problem both with the foot and with those who could, but don’t relieve our anxiety. this is an almost 7 ft sharpshooter from distance. why is no one else interested?
