The Lakers have assigned rookies Andrew Goudelock and Malcolm Thomas to their developmental team, the Los Angeles D-Fenders and they were quickly thrown into the D-League fire last night, leading the team to a 96-68 victory over the Bakersfield Jam.
Andrew Goudelock led the way by scoring 24 points, grabbing 4 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists while Malcolm Thomas put in work with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
It seems as if defense is going to be the mantra for the entire organization as the D-Fenders lived up to their names and kept the Jam to a shooting percentage of 32.9%.
