The Los Angeles Lakers resumed practice at the Toyota Sports Center Monday with the news surrounding Steve Nash’s status after leaving last night’s game against the Chicago Bulls. After being taken out as a “precaution,” due to nerve irritation when he was hit in the same leg he fractured in October of last year, he was very limited at practice today, participating only in some on-court strategy, shooting and therapy. Nash says he hopes to play tomorrow, but it will depend on how he feels before the game. Has his latest setback made him rethink his thoughts on retirement?

Plus, we go one on one with Lakers fan favorite, Nick Young, who chats about his time off during the All-Star break and his mini-Swaggy P look-alike at the Lakers game. Don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel!

Mark Medina: ‘Team may continue the three-guard lineup until injured players return,’

    ?! Between all three pg’s — FG% = 40.6, 3P% = 41.6… Ranked 20th offensively and 29th defensively. All three are defensive forces?!? #rollwithit

I think the statement by MDA was that they might continue to use it depending on who they’re playing/matchups/etc. The only reason they went to it Sunday was the poor shooting of Johnson and Kelly. They were trying to generate some offense. Also don’t believe that was a blanket statement about defense. D’Antoni said that the defense didn’t suffer when they were all 3 in there. That’s not an endorsement of their defensive prowess in general. Doubt that they’ll use it much once everyone is back, but who knows?
