Lakers Post-Game VIDEOS: Kobe Talks Weight Loss And Ankle Issues

On the second night of Kobe Bryant’s return to game action, the Los Angeles Lakers lost 114-108 to the Phoenix Suns. It was a disappointing night in Lakerland, as even with their closer back on the floor, the Lakers were unable to execute down the stretch. After the game, head coach Mike D’Antoni discussed the problems with the Lakers defense, suggesting the Lakers need to “man up” and “toughen up.” Nick Young opened up about the adjustments needed now that Bryant’s on the floor and the lack of consistency with lineup changes. Xavier Henry compares what it’s like to play with Bryant now, in comparison to playing without him for the beginning of the season. Bryant says he felt lighter on Tuesday after losing weight since Sunday. Plus, Bryant reveals that he’s still been having issues with his ankle, which are unrelated to his Achilles.
