Lakers News, Rumors, and Recap: Lakers Win but Metta Loses

The Lakers have one more home game left in the regular season this Thursday against the Sacramento Kings, which will more than likely be played without one of their starters. But how many games will World Peace sit out overall? Lakers Nation took a poll this afternoon and most of you (3,300 people voted) only thought this controversial player should miss one game.

Was the blow to James Harden intentional?

Metta says no, but there is speculation from the player’s attitude after the gesture that he was indeed too heated. Metta only had 6 points in the game before the incident occurred.

Overall, the Lakers beat the Thunder 114-106 in double overtime. Kobe Bryant had 26 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in 49 minutes of play. Gasol 20 points, 14 rebounds (six offensive), nine assists, two steals, and one block in 49 minutes of play. Jordan Hill proved he has what it takes to play on this Lakers’ roster, with 14 points, 15 rebounds (six offensive), and three blocks.
