Howard just finished a fishing trip with friends and according to Mark Medina of the LA Daily News, don’t look for forward Pau Gasol to talk to Howard about his free agency:

It’s not earth shattering news that Gasol wouldn’t talk to Howard about his free agency as it sounds like he isn’t close to making a decision. It’s been reported that Howard has narrowed his choices to remaining a Laker or moving to Houston, but unlike Kobe Bryant, Gasol won’t talk to Howard about his decision.

Similar to Howard, Gasol faces an uncertain summer as his name is sure to be mentioned in trade rumors as the Lakers look to shed salary so they don’t have to pay so much in luxury taxes.
