Lakers News: Pau Gasol Out Sunday vs. Utah Jazz

Pau Gasol will reportedly miss Sunday night’s game against the Utah Jazz due to knee tendinitis.

According to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com and Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Gasol isn’t quite ready to return to the court after missing the last several games with discomfort caused by tendinitis in both of his knees.

Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni reportedly stated that Gasol could play on the team’s upcoming road trip, but that for now his long-term status remains uncertain.

Antawn Jamison will get the start in Gasol’s place once again for Los Angeles.
