After sustaining an Achilles injury near the end of the regular season, Kobe Bryant will be sidelined for an extended period of time. Even though some people (including Mike D’Antoni) believe Bryant will be back sooner rather than later, there’s no question he’s in for a long, strenuous rehabilitation process.

However, it appears that Nike isn’t willing to give up on Kobe quite yet. A new ad surfaced featuring Bryant and his will to fight through adversity and injury.
Bryant tweeted his appreciation to Nike after he first saw the ad, talking about how he appreciated them staying with him through this injury.

Bryant will be forced to watch his Lakers take on the Spurs without him when they play Game 1 of the first round this afternoon.
