The 2013 NBA Finals kickoff tonight between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs. Meanwhile, the Lakers are preparing for a busy and quite uncertain offseason that will hopefully answer a lot of questions.
While many of the team’s stars are getting healthy and rehabbing their injuries, Darius Morris is hard at work on the court, trying to improve his game. In fact, the Lakers recently tweeted out a Vine video of Morris working on his shot, particularly his three-point shot.
As shown in the video, it took 52 minutes and 30 seconds for the young guard to drain 500 three-pointers. Last season, Morris shot 36.4 percent from the three-point line in the 48 games he played in. During the postseason, Morris shot 33.3 percent from downtown in the 26.3 minutes he averaged in the four games of the Lakers’ first round series.
Morris is a restricted free agent this summer and is hoping to receive a qualifying offer by the Lakers this offseason.
