Lakers News: Lakers Nation Reacts to Big Win Over Pacers

Bryant tried to give it a go despite his severe ankle sprain, but he could not endure the pain after a difficult first quarter. The Lakers needed to others players to fill the void, and thanks to a valiant effort by Steve Blake and Dwight Howard, the Lakers came out victorious, 99-93.

Lakers Nation weighed in today and 67 percent said that the win Friday night was the best one of the season.

The Lakers have not been very successful on the road this season and for them to claim a win against a tough Indiana Pacers team is very impressive. Los Angeles has beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder before, but that game was at Staples Center and with Kobe Bryant.

The fact that the win came in the absence of Bryant proves that the team cam win big games without the help of their leader.
