With the worst season in franchise history coming to an end for the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant has already moved on by jumping on a plane to France with his family. Shortly after the news of Kobe heading to France, the five-time NBA champion sent out this tweet to his followers about the worst season he’s ever been a part of:

Fortunately for Kobe, the veteran guard is under contract for another two seasons after signing a lucrative contract extension back in November. Although Kobe will be on the books for another two years, there’s no guarantee the Lakers will be able to rebound and contend in a highly competitive Western Conference before he retires.

The Lakers will have a considerable amount of cap space this summer and will also have a high pick in the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft. Change will almost certainly be on the horizon as Mitch Kupchak and company to rebuild as quickly as possible.
