Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Running 100 Percent On Alter-G Treadmill

The NBA preseason is in full swing for the Los Angeles Lakers with the team already having played three games and showing signs of promise early on. Despite the optimism following the two wins in the first three preseason games, all the attention continues to be directed toward Kobe Bryant’s health and return date.

On Wednesday, Kobe returned to practice after heading to Germany to undergo a knee procedure. Kobe talked about where he’s at physically and the fact he run on his full body weight according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

With less than three weeks until the regular season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 29, Kobe is still trying to get his body right in order to get on the floor for the first game of the season. Although it may be a stretch that Kobe will return for the showdown with the Clippers, it still not beyond the realm of possibility that he’d return in time.

Regardless of the optimism surrounding Kobe’s return, the safe bet would be to anticipate the five-time NBA champion coming back in late November or early December.
