Much has been made about the hot streak that New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin is on. With Amar’e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony currently injured, Lin has taken over the Knicks over this past week.
While the internet is a abuzz with Lin-sanity, there’s one individual who still isn’t impressed with what he’s done.
Following Thursday night’s victory over the Boston Celtics, Kobe Bryant was asked about Lin by Boston Sports Radio WEEI. Bryant’s response wasn’t flattering for the young Taiwanese player.
“I know who he is, but I don’t really know what’s going on too much with him. I don’t even know what he’s done. Like, I have no idea what you guys are talking about.”
Whether Bryant was just being coy or actually hasn’t heard of the Lin-apalooza going on in the Big Apple is unknown, but knowing Bryant it could be either way. Still, Bryant will get a first-hand look at Lin tonight as the Lakers will take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
