The 2013-14 NBA season has been rough to say the least for the Los Angeles Lakers. The team has struggled on a nightly basis with a lot of new faces and countless injuries.
Despite the Lakers heading toward a high draft pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the team was able to put together a two-game win streak after a thrilling victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.
After the impressive win over the Blazers, Lakers legend James Worthy cracked open the “Shut Up Juice!” on the set of TWCSportsNet. Worthy has been one of the most openly frustrated former Lakers with the platform to express that frustration, but was relieved after a second straight win saying the following according to Janis Carr of OC Report:
Worthy: "The Lakers are making me drink some shutup juice. I did not expect them to com out and play like they did."

Following the win over the Blazers, the Lakers will head back to Los Angeles to face the New Orleans Pelicans in the second night of a back-to-back.
As a result of beating Portland, the Lakers improved their record to 21-39 on the season.
