With the NBA Draft in a week, the Los Angeles Lakers are currently working out prospects for their 2nd, 27th and 34th overall picks. While Emmanuel Mudiay will have his second workout with the team some time today, Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell will be working out for them this week.

According to ESPN’s Chad Ford, Okafor will be working out on Friday and Russell on Saturday:

While having prospects working out again comes as no surprise, it is encouraging to see the Lakers doing their due diligence by bringing back all three prospects for another workout. Although the Lakers could continue their tradition of having a big man in Okafor, they may follow the trend and go with Russell or Mudiay.

As of today, Karl-Anthony Towns only has one meeting scheduled and that is with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. While the Lakers have not been able to schedule one with Towns yet, there is still a week before the draft on June 25.
