Lakers News: Dwight Howard Now ’50-50′ on Free Agent Decision

The Dwightmare has taken another interesting turn after it appeared to be a done deal with Dwight Howard agreeing to sign with the Houston Rockets.

Reportedly, Dwight is headed back to Los Angeles in order to talk GM Mitch Kupchak and is continuing to waffle on his decision about potentially re-signing with the Los Angeles Lakers according to Sports Center via Twitter:

Howard has the reputation of constantly changing his mind on major decisions like the one he’s posed with at the time being. With that being said, Howard changing his mind once again shouldn’t be surprising as it may change many times before July 10.

Although Howard was thought to be prepared to make his final decision on Friday, but it may head into the weekend following another meeting with Kupchak.

alright dwight enough, really think about this.

IF IT’S THIS HARD TO LEAVE, YOU DON’T WANT TO LEAVE, AND YOU WILL COMPLETELY REGRET LEAVING US FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AND HATE YOURSELF FOR IT.

If you commit to us and put your heart into it unlike that bullshit last year, you will win championships.

I be willing to bet Mike D will be fired and Phil will be coach for Dwight to stay

    • Steve Jimenez

      THAT WOULD BE NICE !!!

    • Yaaser

As nice as that sounds, I don’t think it’ll happen because the Lakers just can’t afford it unfortunately.

Enough already! Make up your mind, man!

Maybe Mitch called him up begging for him to come and said he’d fire Mikey D

I think, Howard has to corral his people… It is them that is making a bad rep about him… I doubt if this Howard to Houston thing is coming from Howard at all… until I hear him speak about it.. I am not buying anything that’s out there.

With what is going on in GS… I will not be surprise is Howard requests a sign and trade to the Warriors. They just traded for Iggy, that would make H.Barnes expendable… hhhmmm.

I’ll be crying about Dwight leaving in my purple and gold LeBron jersey next year. Seriously, if Dwight thinks the Rockets will get him a championship and make him the man, he’s got a reality check coming.

  • keiana

He’s leaving he already tweeted his decision
