Coming into tonight’s game, the Lakers team was not in a good place. The Lakers had lost seven of the last eight games and frustrations began to mount.

Pau Gasol voiced his frustrations with the team, and Jordan Farmar spoke on the team lacking an identity. Everything seemed to bring the Lakers closer together.

The Lakers got a huge win over the Sacramento Kings tonight and according to Lakers Nation Reporter Serena Winters, Coach D’Antoni was satisfied with his team:

Things were beginning to turn sour for the Lakers with the number of losses they were taking, so to get this ‘sugar’ tonight has to do a lot for the team’s morale.

It is easy for a team to give up when they are losing so often, but the Lakers won’t let that stop them from playing hard every night.

When you get nights like this and the team is tying franchise records, it gives everyone hope that they can do this again.

The Lakers got their ‘sugar’ tonight and now they can look to carry that sweetness over to the next game.

I’m sorry but this is sad. team gave up 122 points at home to the queens and thats a huge win?

    • Daspin

      All twenty wins were huge.

Lakers play zero defense and lose all the time because of it.Giving up 122 points to a Kings team without their best players Cousins is a all time low for the Lakers. The only thing that can save the Lakers is if they get a top 4 pick and draft the next Michael Jordan or the next Hakeem Olajuwon other than that short of a miracle they are done for a few years at least.Kendall Marshall is trash and Jordan Farmar is a midget shooting guard.Mike D’Antoni should be fired for everything he has done this idiot has his worst winning percentage ever this season. No defense=No rings.

  • Pelon

Scratch off the Lakers for the Playoffs for the next few years until they defend.
