Lakers News And Rumors Recap: Kobe Officially Ruled Out For Season

The Lakers officially announced that Kobe Bryant will be out for the remainder of the season on Wednesday afternoon. With the Lakers struggling, there was no rush for the Lakers to bring back the five-time champion this season. Bryant took some time Wednesday to talk to the media about his outlook and what he expects from the Lakers front office this off-season. Although the Lakers will have a high pick in the draft, many people expect the Lakers to go through a rebuilding phase, which Bryant revealed he wants no part of as he wants the Lakers to contend as soon as possible.
