Also, Laker legend Magic Johnson made an appearance at Long Beach State last night and was asked who was the better player between Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Johnson would end up picking Jordan due to his record of never losing in the NBA Finals. Johnson would also go on to say that Kobe is on his Mount Rushmore of NBA greats.

LA Lakers will go and sign Mark Jackson and George Karl and Jeff van gundy and my option choice Quin Snyder next head coach LA Lakers next season

  • LakersHeatBeef

Lets just see how bad Kevin Ollie wants to coach the Lakers it’s a life long dream for the L.A. raised man.Betting money is on Kevin Ollie becoming the Lakers next head coach.Kevin Ollie is a strong favorite to become the next Lakers coach a odds on favorite to be exact.

Great time to be a Lakers fan,Mike D’Antoni is gone finally.

    • LegendInMyMind

Lakers are in rebuilding mode either way. It’s a tough time to be a Lakers fan. But yes, D’Antoni leaving feels like they’re finally making progress.

Has anyone realized that if it hadn’t been because of D’ antoni’s resign, the lakers would still keep him..? What’s going with the Gm and Buss’s son?. I don’t trust them at all,lol..

Get the bulls coach or Lionel Hollins…

agree… then get Ollie as assistant along with Fisher… also if we land outside of top 3 in the draft, and Randle is still available, they shout take him… I honestly believe that Randle is a steal, everybody is looking to draft Emdiid,Wiggins,Parker…. RAndle is the sleeper along with Smart… but I will take Randle.

If the team really thought Love would come to LA, why would they pick up another PF? (and where would he play if Gasol came back?)

The team needs a PG and Smart or Exum would be the target if they landed outside the top 3.

        • http://www.haveslot.com/ richard

I did not mention Love in my comment… I am not sure where do you get the idea that I said the team really thought of getting Love… Love is in Minnie and is under contract… we deal with the cards we have on our hands not with the cards on other’s hands.

It’s hard to put this all on Dantoni. What coach could win with so many injuries. And don’t forget they had the best win percentage down the stretch last year to get to playoffs. That’s with everyone actually playing

  • Marty Susman

Love should not come here this year, he would NOT be a happy camper with the team losing, he should come when he is a free agent and we can get him for free. As for a coach, no coach will win a ring in the next twi seasons meaning if they have fan support as well as front office support they can grow along with the team. That translates into giving D. Fish a shot to better, if Byron is head guy, would Fish be happy being the number two coach, Fish could spend a few years on the bench & then move up to the front office…The fans would rally around a bench of Scott, Fish & Rambus….
