The amount of injuries have derailed the team all season long, and the Lakers were shorthanded once again as they suffered their 53rd loss last night against the Houston Rockets. With last night’s defeat, it gave the Lakers their most losses in franchise history since moving to Los Angeles.

While Kent Bazemore and Xavier Henry are out for the rest of the season, it appears Pau Gasol will be out as well as he is still dealing with vertigo. The Lakers continue their final home stand of the season as they host the Grizzlies on Friday.

kobe needs to be talked to about this . he earned that . on another note i think dantoni would be a really good college coach . that type of ball is his exact style . but the Lakers need to fire him asapppppp .

  • Oliver

See i doubt Jim Buss is a complete idiot as many say he is.Jim Buss is not a retard and he is just bad at picking good coaches he hired the wrong coach twice.Lakers will hopefully sign LeBron James to make all the haters STFU.Firing MDA solves a major problem but who Jim Buss hires is way more important. It’s all about the 2014 NBA Draft the team is focused on Joel Embiid and Julius Randle they need size. The only way the Lakers draft Andrew Wiggins is if he is on the board.

Mitch explains in post why he will not consult with Kobe. I think to a certain degree he and Kobe should be able to privately speak and share thoughts, opinions and
imput on issues related to the team going forward. With an agreement and understanding that they will not say or do anything to undermine or disrupt the organization or their plans going forward.

Do you think the Lakers should hire a really good proven NBA Top defensive coordinator/specialist to go with their reported plans to return “Showtime” back to the Lakers?
