Welcome to the Lakers family where winning championships is the only goal.

  • Norm

Jordan Clarkson reminds exactly of Penny Hardaway.Lakers hit a home run draft.

    • vdogg

      from your lips…

  • Erick

Yes Jordan Clarkson is a great player,Julius Randle is a best both Texas guys.

Jordan Clarkson is Filipino- American. Is he the first Filipino ever to play in the NBA?

    • itsmarvinyo

maybe, idk tho. but hey more fans will represent the purple and gold.

    • Kobe Will Get 6

      Nate Robinson is 1/8th Filipino

      • Tune

        I don’t think that counts

  • Pao Pao Lim

hope Randle will be a good partner with kobe, he is a force (z-bo type) hope he can be a starter

  • Gary

Julius Randle is destined to be a NBA Superstar.Jordan Clarkson works with the best trainer in basketball Jay Hernandez also Draft Express did a ton of footage and work with Jordan Clarkson as of the last few months.Jordan Clarkson has a ill father and that hampered his play in his last year but he was still the 19th player on the NBA Draft NET power ranking of players Dario Saric was one spot ahead of Jordan Clarkson and Saric was picked 12th just to give you all a idea of how good Clarkson really is i think he has top 10 talent from this draft and major upside.

Hope to see some news about a Randle + Nash trade to open up cap space and get better players. A mediocre pick definitely won’t help us win a championship!

    • vdogg

geez. give the guy a chance! you really think both lebron and melo are coming here?

    • Kobe Gagnon

Mediocre huh. You sir don’t understand the value of drafting a star and potential superstar whom you pay a ROOKIE salary, pp boy

  • BULL

are we really bad mouthing Randle? we have nobody .. calm down and let this process take time.. damn some of you fake fans are horrible .. Randle will be a good low post threat .. hopefully Gasol can come back along with Young, Farmar, Wesley and Hill .. I would rather Lakers go after Bledsoe, Deng or Lowry. No superstar is willing to come the L.A to help Kobe rebuild. So Stop with all the wishes and lets start thinking Realistic . damn I know we are spoiled but damn!

    • Badazztj12

Yea you got a point, I just hope we get Hollins

    • edgar

We need to stop thinking about Kobe and start thinking about the Lakers. If we were going to draft a player and give him time than we should of drafted lavine. Nobody would of drafted lavine 7th over randle except for me and jerry west.

      • Kobe Gagnon

        You smoking something?

  • Sam Saab

All we need is bledsoe or Lowry, Deng or Ariza…..re-sign meeks, farmer, young, pau, hill and X and we are def and playoff team with Kobe and Randle healthy…..dont get me wrong i wouldnt mind signing Melo but we dont have to go for just the big names.

  • wardrobe99

i think go get ariza, granger, beasly, okafor, resignGasol, young, kelly if we cant get beasly . go get darren collison or evan turner, mills and maybe go get vince carter cheap he can still ball then who ever else to fill in spots

  • edgar

  • wardrobe99

    first team
    sg. mamba
    sf. ariza,gordan hayward
    pf. Randle
    c. gasol
    off the bench
    pg. clarkson,collison,turner,nash,mills
    sg. young,hayward
    sf. granger,beasly,hayward
thats just players that are out there i would rather have Ariza, granger combo then melo two for one we cant forget about elton brand he can teach randle alot and we can get him cheap one year deal next year retool make trades these players give us bargan tools

  • Rangers

    Both good picks!

Best Lakers lineup (reasonable and matches $$$) BUT HAVE TO GET RID OF NASH:
Bledsoe (suns added another pointguard from draft;tyler ennis)
    Ariza (elite defender/3pt shooter)

Bench: re-sign: Hill, marshall, Johnson. Sign (if possible): vets like varejou, avery bradley, or emeka okafor or young

    Bledsoe (12 mill a year)
    Kobe (23.5)
    Ariza (6~)
    Randle (2.4 m)
    Monroe (12 m)

    Hill (3m)
    Clakrson (1m)
    Marshall (1m)
    Johnson (1-2m)
    Bradley (3m)
    Okafor (3m)
70 million under the 77 million tax level and 63.2 cap space (re-signs can go past cap after you sign other free agents such as bradley/okafor, which would be 7~million)

Team can rebuild with youth+competitive/athletic and win games that fit under cap space

  • Bruce

I really like both draft picks, I think Lakers FO did a superb job. Randle is going to be a beast down low, a double double machine and all star potential, Jordan Clarkson might be a steal of the draft that can come off the bench and gives the team a spark.
